License validation: When verifying a license key, we send the license key and a machine identifier (hashed hardware ID) to our licensing server. No file contents or filenames are transmitted.
Website analytics: Our website may use standard analytics to understand traffic patterns. No personal data is collected from the desktop application.

3. File Processing

All PDF compression happens entirely on your local machine. Your files are never uploaded to any server. FileMatic does not access, read, or transmit the contents of your documents over any network.

4. Data Storage

License information is stored locally on your machine using Windows DPAPI encryption. No personal data is stored on our servers beyond what is necessary for license management.

5. Third-Party Services

FileMatic does not integrate with any third-party services that have access to your files. The only external communication is license key validation with our own server.

6. Data Retention

We retain license activation records for the duration of the license. You can request deletion of your data by contacting [email protected].
